Family Note

Do not boil after adding the miso. Keep it gentle.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups dashi or water
  • 3 tablespoons miso paste
  • 1 cup cubed tofu
  • 2 tablespoons dried wakame
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Directions

  1. Warm dashi or water in a pot.
  2. Add tofu and wakame and heat gently.
  3. Scoop some warm broth into a bowl and dissolve miso paste.
  4. Stir dissolved miso back into the pot.
  5. Top with green onion and serve warm.
