Julie Jeong is my grandmother, and this website was made to preserve the recipes she has collected, cooked, and shared with our family over the years.
Her Story
Grandma Julie was born and raised in Hawaii, where food is part of family, culture, and everyday connection. Her cooking brings together the comfort of home, the flavors of Hawaii, and family traditions that have been passed down through handwritten recipes and shared meals.
For years, many of her recipes lived on paper. Some were written on cards, some were tucked into notebooks, and some were remembered from cooking together. This website gives those recipes a safer home so our family can keep using them for generations.
